Watch the kids in the hall!

The Kids in the Hall were formed in 1984. they are a Canadian Comedy troupe that are strange and funny.... Lorne Michaels began to produce them in the late 80's and they were aired on Canadian and US tv....... Dave Foley, Mark Mckinney, Scott Thompson,Bruce Mcculough, and Kevin McDonald.... it is along the same lines as a SNL... or Monty Python but much dirtier and sillier than both those shows..all the characters play many parts and often dress up as women .... as of now they are not making any new episodes but every few years they tour and i have seen them twice and they are extremely funny live....... they also filmed a movie called "Brain Candy" which is very funny as welll
if you are interested in checking them out,, Comedy Central has sporadic reruns on or you can buy the first 3 seasons on dvd...... i highly recomend checking them out

To Bill Brasky!

there was this skecth on SNL a few years a go where a bunch of people in a bar.. usually Will Ferrel and John Good man were two of them...... and they would talk about this fictional man Bill Brasky...... they would make the most absurd drunking statements about the man that were so far fetches........

here are a few of my favorite quotes that i found from a blog by a man named Mark Privett

"He'd eat a homeless person if you dared him!"
"His poop is used as currency in Argentina."
"I once saw him scissor kick Angela Landsbury."
"He once punched a hole in a cow just to see who was coming up the road."
"He jogged with a fridge on his back!"
"He breastfeeds John Madden."
"The character of Johnny Appleseed was based on Brasky - except for the apple tree planting and not raping men."

haha.... i just find stuff like that really entertaining

Phil Lesh!

so we drove down to Albany last night and saw Phil...... the man is 65 years old, looks great, sounds great and doesnt miss a note..... i have been seeing him and the rest of the remaing members of the Grateful Dead since i have been in high school and his voice sounds the best lately then since i have seen him...... i saw him a few weeks ago in Reading, Pennsylvania and the show was just as fun............ Guitarist John Scofield played with Phil and Friends last night and he sounded ok, but i dont think they were enough in sync and i dont feel like they had enough time to practice Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes sang and played guitar alot but the general feeling amongst my friends and myself is that we dont really care for him. give us our Bobby!.......over all it was a good time and some of the high lights for me were , a Phil sung "Eyes of the World", "Loose Lucy", "Us Blues", Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watch Tower" and a Beautiful "Bird Song"...... here is the whole setlist from Philzone.com
and i think i saw Kate Hudson in the back of the stage, she is the most beautiful creatures in the world, who is married to one of the biggest losers in the world, Chris Robinson..... go figure!
